in that order of course there are many others but those stick out in my mind the most - like all the pic of people jumping out the buildings...the waves crashing and swooping away so many people and with katrina all those people standing on their roofs and as if no one here in america could help?? i was like wtf is wrong with our country??

Dunblane affected me IMMENSELY, as did 911, Bradford football fire and the London bombings.
but in terms of number of deaths, it was relatively few.
On the grand scale of things - you would have to be talking Battle of the Somme, the Holocaust, the sinking of the Titanic, the Bubonic Plague, etc.
It is very difficult to say which was the worst ever. there are probably loads that happened years ago that we know nothing about!
