Okay so my dentist has been telling me i've needed braces ever since i was in 4th grade, but now all my teeth have straightend out! I don't think i need braces anyway(they only want the money) I have 3 teeth that have grown in crooked, Can i just use a retainer to fix this? (invisiline isn't an option, My family does not have a lot of money right now, and its the holidays too)

Please help! thanksyes it can. i was in your same situation a few months ago and i used a retainer instead of braces. They worked out just fine, sometimes they hurt but you can get it adjusted. I only needed them for 6-7 months and it was way better than braces. they smell after a while so just remember to keep them clean! =) Good luckinvisalign basically is a retainer and you would have to go to an ortho to get it fitted properly.. or your teeth will just shift differenty than what you want.... maybe you could ask your orth how long you will have to have them on (their estimate is usually right) and if its no more than a year then it wouldnt hurt to get them... time really goes by when you have them on...#If you have any other info about this subject , Please add it free.# |
