I just noticed yesterday hardly any of my friends wash their hands after using the loo or coming in from being outside and touching things.
Do British people generally not wash their hands?Often
I wash them after going to the loo, before meals, before prepping a meal, and after I smoke a cigarette.I'm not British, but I wash my hands after the bathroom and before I touch food, or at some other time if my hands are visibly dirty.All the time i have this thing about Hygienei wash my handsAlways wash themI'm Australian & I sometimes think I'm the only person I know who washes my hands after loo, being outside, shopping, patting my cat, almost everything, Maybe it's OCD but my hands are clean!I always wash my hands when I'm down the pub. Then after I've dried my hands in the hot air dryer I wait for someone to come into the toilet so I can get out without touching the DISGUSTING WET DIRTY DOOR HANDLE.
I'm completely paranoid about hand cleanliness and I'm British.Always wash my hands,even if i haven't been to the loo.I wash my hands when I go to the bathroom and when I touch some wet or sticky. I always go to the toilet before I go out or have a meal so my hands will be clean, since I never go to the toilet without washing my hands once I'm finished.I am not British but i frequently wash my hands.My mum has always said "Never shake hands with a man in a pub, they don't even know what the basin is there for" and as I have aged I would have to agree with her. Then again, if more adverts like the domestos ones where you see the germs as blocks of slimy, infectious colour growing and being spread around everything you touch and whoever touches that after you, growing and growing, they may change their minds.
Also, people who leave the toilet seat up when flushing in a bathroom/toilet, unless you bleach every time in every spot of the toilet then each time you flush tiny pieces of faeces and urine get splashed around the room, landing on your toothbrush, towels etc etc and get spread in the same way.#If you have any other info about this subject , Please add it free.# |
