Add a user's signature to their entry?

  • Is there anyway a user can add their forum signature to their blog entry? I've had a few users on my forums request this but I haven't found anything in the options.

    Is it easy to add?

  • Thank you but I dont think it worked properly. I placed the code just before the attachments and even after the attachments

    The problem comes that it's half there. Users who have a picture as their signature show as
    [SIGPIC [/SIGPIC (ofcourse with the closing brackets)
    at the end of their blog entries

    If a user just has text with links it shows up unformatted with the BBcode for the url visible.

    Maybe I need to put it in a certain spot or an option has to be selected. So any advice greatly appreciated :)

  • Is there a way to setup signatures to be shown on the blog entries then? Or is this something that might be able to be added in a future release?


  • Add:

    $blog[signature]

    Into the blog_show_entry template where you want the signature to appear at. To give the user the option on whether to show it or not would be a little more complicated but probably possible with a custom profile field and a conditional.
